Doom 2 Secrets List
A secret level is an optional level accessed from a generally concealed alternate exit. Since the secret level uses this second, less accessible exit, the game or episode it forms part of can be completed from start to finish without progressing through the level. A super secret level is a secret level accessed from a previous secret level, as seen in Doom II. In Doomsecret exits could only be set up as switches. The source port Boom added exits triggered by impact weaponsincluding secret exits, which are consequently available in any Boom-compatible port.
If the player activates a secret exit on a level they are not meant to reach a secret level from, they will go to the secret level, as usual. However, upon completing the secret level, the player will be taken to the level immediately following the level they were meant to access it from. Depending on the specific episode and level this occurs on, the player may end up either skipping several maps, repeating the level they just left, or being sent back to an earlier level.
If the player uses a secret exit on a map they are not supposed to reach a secret level from, they will end up repeating the level over again.
Doom 64 has three secret levels, one super secret level, and three hidden levels. Maps 29 through 31 also offer the player more incentive when it comes to getting to them; each stage has a singular Demon Key artifact that can be found and used to power up the Unmaker weapon and to close three demon teleporters in MAP28making beating that particular stage much easier.
Doom 64's super secret level, MAP32, is accessed from MAP01and again has incentive in its discovery; if the player is successful in getting to the level's secret exit, he will be able to access the "Features" menu, thereby unlocking many different cheat options. Going through the normal exit will bring the player to MAP02but without the "Features" menu.
Getting to MAP32, though, is a rather unique challenge; the player must destroy all the toxin barrels found in MAP01, and destroying the last one will temporarily lower the lift that grants access to MAP However, this is a one-time thing, and if the player does not make it to the lift, he will either have to get through the stage all over again or forsake going to MAP32 as a whole. These levels don't offer much and are rather short in approach, but, as the nickname suggests, are put in for "fun".
Strangely, while their chronological order places them between levels 24 and 28beating MAP27 will bring the player to MAP Sign In Don't have an account?

Finding each of these unlocks the full level for play in the Doom main menu. These levels are each activated by finding and pulling a hidden lever, then navigating to the secret level entrance. The first Doom hidden level is located midway through the martian landscape just past this distinctive cylinder structure.
The third secret level lever is hidden in the center of the main foundry chamber at the top level. The fourth secret level lever is hidden to the left of this installation just beyond the first Rune. Halfway up Agrent Energy Tower, there are two floating transports.
One glows green, the other blue. Ride the blue-hued transport to the top of the stage. You'll spot the lever fairly near the beginning of the level behind stacked crates on one of the platforms. The stage eight lever is hidden behind this grate high on a cliff after the outdoor arena and platform jumping section. To reach it, perform a jump from the right side of the grate around the pipe to the right and an immediate double jump left onto the platform. The Lazarus lever is relatively easy to find, tucked into the edge of the small, distinctive red-ring room.
The stage ten lever is hidden behind a panel in the large arena room with the pillar-like crushing platform that moves up and down. To open it, be sure to ride up the top of the crushing stone like an elevator, hot the switch at the top, drop back down, and then walk to this panel. Once you've opened the door, double back to the poisoned hall you already cleared before entering the arena and you'll find the entrance.
The stage eleven lever is located in an arena fairly early in the stage near a fire pit. The door to the lever opens after all arena enemies are defeated. The twelfth lever is located in the laboratory corner just before the descent into a circular pit.
The lever is hidden behind some boxes. The thirteenth secret area is a little more difficult to find. To access it, you first need to hit this switch hidden in a stairwell near the first Wraith Soul. Then, head up through the open moth into the branching hall above where a secret panel has opened. You'll see the lever nearby. Doom Wiki Guide Table of Contents. Last Edited: 21 Jul pm.
